NBA's all-time leaders for most career regular season triple-doubles

On May 10, 2021, Russell Westbrook surpassed Oscar Robertson's career triple-double tally of 181 by registering a 28-point, 21-assist and 17-rebound triple-double in a narrow one-point loss against the Atlanta Hawks.

He recorded another couple to extend his lead at the top and finish with a total of 184 triple-double prior to the 2021-22 season. Having averaged a triple-double in four of the last five seasons, 147 of Westbrook's 184 triple-doubles have come since 2016.

Prior to the 2021-22 season, Westbrook is the triple-doubles leader for two franchises - the Oklahoma City Thunder (138) and Washington Wizards (38).

Courtesy of his red-hot triple-double streak over the past years, he is the only player in NBA history to have recorded multiple triple-doubles against every NBA franchise.

Westbrook is one of four active players in the top 10, with LeBron James ranked the next-highest at fifth with 99 triple-doubles. As the table shows, the other active players are James Harden and Nikola Jokic - both of whom could rise from their current spots of eighth and ninth, respectively.

Outside of the Top 10, two international young stars in Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokoumpo could crack into the leaderboard soon.

Prior to the 2021-22 season, Doncic ranks 11th with 36 triple-doubles through his first three years in the NBA, while Antetokounmpo ranks 20th with 25 triple-doubles.
