Nancy Darsch, the winning coach for the New York Liberty in the WNBA's inaugural game in 1997, passed away on Monday. Darsch had a successful career at the college, WNBA, and USA Basketball levels, leading the Liberty to the championship game in the WNBAs inaugural season and serving as an assistant for two gold medal U.S. women's teams and the 2010 WNBA Champion Seattle Storm.
