Nurse took to Twitter Saturday afternoon to share her excitement surrounding the news, sharing that "Canada can get its taste of the @WNBA on live television tonight...What a time!!!!"

Through nine games in the 2019 season, Nurse is the Liberty's second-leading scorer, averaging 15.2 points per game in just over 31 minutes of action. Nurse has had two games with 26 points already this season, most recently in a win over the Los Angeles Sparks where she converted on 15 of her 16 free throw attempts. In each of the Liberty's three wins this season, Nurse has scored 15 or more points.

Minnesota is led by veteran centre Sylvia Fowles, who is averaging 14.3 points and 9.8 rebounds per game this season. The Lynx have struggled without five-time All-Star Maya Moore, who is sitting out this season to focus on endeavours outside of basketball.

As Kia Nurse looks to propel the Liberty to another win, you can catch the action live on SN1 at 7 p.m. ET.
