Who has been named WNBA's Defensive Player of the Year? A complete list of previous winners

Minnesota Lynx's Sylvia Fowles was named the WNBA's Defensive Player of the Year.

In her 14th year, this is Fowles' fourth DPOY award in her career having previously won it in 2011, 2013 and 2016.

She is one of seven players to have won the award multiple times with her four awards ranking second-most all-time, only trailing Hall of Famer Tamika Catchings, who has an all-time record five DPOYs to her name.
