The next NBA All-Star Game will take place on Feb. 16, 2020 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois

The Rising Stars Challenge will be held on Feb. 14, followed by the Three-Point Contest, Skills Challenge and Slam Dunk Contest on Feb. 15.

"Chicago is an iconic city with a storied basketball history," NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said in a press conference in 2017. "We are thrilled to bring the NBA All-Star Game back. We thank Mayor Emanuel, Jerry and Michael Reinsdorf and the entire Bulls organization and look forward to an exciting week of activities celebrating the game of basketball."

It'll mark the third time Chicago has hosted the NBA All-Star Game. In 1973, the East beat the West by a final score of 104-84 at the Chicago Stadium. In 1988, the East held off a late comeback attempt by the West to win by five points at the same venue.

Dave Cowens of the Boston Celtics was named the game's MVP in 1973 with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Michael Jordan was named MVP in front of a home crowd in 1988 with a game-high 40 points.

Jordan also pulled down eight rebounds, blocked four shots, came up with four steals and dished out three assists in the win.

The Indiana Pacers will then host the 2021 All-Star Game, doing so for the second time in the franchise's history.
