The NBA offseason is underway with the NBA Draft coming up on Thursday. We are now just a few weeks away from the start of the 2018 NBA free agency.
Rumours have already started circulating as LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Paul George can become free agents this summer setting up for the potential of new contenders in the league.
July 1 is the official start to the off-season. On that date restricted free agents can sign their offer sheets and teams can sign rookies, minimum salary contract and two-way contracts.
Free agents can verbally agree to terms only after July 1 and can officially sign with team July 6 at 12:00 p.m. ET.
After July 6 teams can officially sign, re-sign and trade players. They'll also have two-days from that date to officially match any offer sheet signed by a restricted free agent.
