Standing 6'10 weighing in at 240 points, you can imagine that Dwight Powell has an appetite.

Growing up in a city as diverse as Toronto, Powell was surrounded by unique cultures and had the ability to enjoy different foods from around the world.

Powell teamed up with DoorDash as part of the "Welcome to my Neighbourhood" campaign to discuss his love for food and the appreciation he had for the authentic takes on international cuisine.

"Growing up in Toronto I was very fortunate to be exposed to people from all different walks of life, from every corner of the globe," Powell remarked. "The diversity of the people in Toronto is reflected in the cuisine.

"One of the best parts about the international cuisine is it's not replicas of cuisines from other countries but rather it's an authentic take — because people are bringing their cultures with them to Canada, and they're sharing them rather than trying to copy them.

"Fortunately for me, I don't have to travel far out of my neighbourhood to find some of my favourite restaurants in the city."

Powell just completed his sixth full season for the Dallas Mavericks. Coming off an Achilles injury that kept him out of the NBA Bubble, Powell appeared in 58 games, starting 19, and averaged 12.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per 36 minutes.

The 29-year-old was also named to the list of 21 players Team Canada unveiled ahead of their Olympic qualifying bid at the end of June.
