As the young Atlanta Hawks stunned the contending Philadelphia 76ers at the State Farm Arena, Vince Carter, who contributed 14 points (4-8 FG's), continued his climb on the all-time games played charts.

The game actually Philadelphia was appearance No. 1,523 for Carter, moving him ahead of Dirk Nowitzki and into third. Carter now only trails Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Robert Parish.

Over Carter's 22-year NBA career, here's how many games he has played with each franchise (as he passes Nowitzki) - Toronto Raptors (403), New Jersey Nets (374), Orlando Magic (97), Phoenix Suns (51), Dallas Mavericks (223), Memphis Grizzlies (199), Sacramento Kings (58), and Atlanta Hawks (117).

His 22-year career is the longest in NBA history.

Carter announced in June before this season that this regular-season would be his last.
