The Toronto Raptors will be without guard Fred VanVleet for the second consecutive game.

VanVleet, who missed Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls with a right knee contusion, will again sit as the Raptors host Kawhi Leonard and the LA Clippers, per TSN's Josh Lewenberg.

Lewenberg also added that reserve wing Patrick McCaw would be available after missing the team's last 18 games.

With VanVleet sidelined once again, Norman Powell will likely assume responsibilities as a starter in the backcourt alongside Kyle Lowry. Powell stepped up big in Chicago, scoring 17 points in 29 minutes and making big plays down the stretch.

McCaw, who will likely see some time off the bench, has appeared in just two games this season. The three-time NBA champion averaged 20.0 minutes in the pair of games, and posted averages of 4.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals.

As a lengthy wing, McCaw could be integrated in defensive schemes to try and slow down Leonard, Paul George and Lou Williams.

The Toronto Raptors host the LA Clippers at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
