Game Preview

We've reached the final week of the NBA season and four games remain on the Raptors' schedule.

First up is the Clippers, who close the season on a four-game road trip after losing to the New York Knicks on Sunday. In their most recent loss, the Clippers were led by 29 points from Kawhi Leonard, while Paul George scored 18 points, pulled down eight rebounds and dished out four assists.

Tuesday night marks the second time that LA and Toronto meet in the span of a week, as the two teams faced off last Tuesday, May 4, at the Staples Center.

Last week, a shorthanded Raptors team was led by the efforts of Pascal Siakam (24) and Fred VanVleet (27), who combined to score 51 of the team's 100 points. Behind the efforts of that duo, Toronto led late before George sparked a late Clippers' rally to deliver a five-point win.

In the two games since, the Raptors have suffered two losses, most recently falling to the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. In the 10-point loss, Toronto saw Siakam exit with a shoulder strain while Rodney Hood left the game due to a fractured second metacarpal in his left hand.

The team was already without OG Anunoby (injury recovery), Aron Baynes (foot), Chris Boucher (knee), Kyle Lowry (rest), VanVleet (injury management) and Paul Watson (knee), so injuries to the above two further limited the team's rotation.

It is unclear who, if any, of the aforementioned eight players will return to the lineup against LA but Tuesday's matchup could spell more development opportunities for rookies Malachi Flynn, Freddie Gillespie and Jalen Harris, who is coming off of a career-high 16-point performance on Saturday.
