Houston Rockets defeat Toronto Raptors 107-95 behind 35 points from James Harden

The Houston Rockets defeated the Toronto Raptors 107-95 behind 35 points from James Harden.

The Rockets have swept the season series and have strung together a six-game win streak.

Toronto got down early in this one and battled back, but fell short in the fourth quarter as the Rockets poured in 38 points in the final frame.

Final: Rockets 107, Raptors 95

10:29 p.m. - The Rockets scored 38 points in the fourth quarter to top the Raptors 107-95. James Harden scored 35 points to lead the way. Kawhi Leonard had a team-high 26 points for Toronto while both Serge Ibaka and Pascal Siakam recorded double-doubles.

10:13 p.m. - Buckets are coming in bunches for the Rockets - they have 25 points in the quarter in just over six minutes. They've drained six 3-pointers in that time span. The Raptors lead has vanished with Houston up 14, 94-80, with 5:44 left in the game.

10:03 p.m. - Gerald Green is a problem in Toronto tonight. Three 3-pointers for the reserve guard gives the Rockets an 80-73 lead as Houston starts the fourth quarter on an 11-2 run.

End of third quarter: Raptors 71, Rockets 69

9:55 p.m. - What a quarter by the Raptors! They nearly match their scoring total for the entire first half as they outscore the Rockets 34-14 to take a 71-69 lead heading into the final frame. Pascal Siakam has caught fire with 17 points while Serge Ibaka has been a force on the defensive end with a season-high five blocks.

9:45 p.m. - And now we have a ball game. The Raptors and Rockets are tied at 62 with 3:40 to go in the quarter as Toronto is outscoring Houston 25-7 in the quarter. The Raptors' starting unit has sparked this run and the Scotiabank Arena crowd is right back in it.

Also worth noting, James Harden has four fouls and remains in the game.

9:34 p.m. - Here come the Raptors! They go on a 15-2 run to start the second half and cut the Rockets' lead to just five at 57-52. Pascal Siakam buried two 3-pointers and Danny Green knocked down one to force Houston to take a timeout to stop the bleeding.

Halftime: Rockets 55, Raptors 37

9:12 p.m. - The Rockets close out the half with an 18-point lead at 55-37. James Harden's 13 points leads the way with help from Austin Rivers and Eric Gordon, who have 10 points apiece. The Raptors are shooting 34.1 percent from the field and 23.1 percent from 3-point land with 11 turnovers to boot.

9:04 p.m. - The Raptors show some life as Patrick McCaw and Danny Green knock down one 3-pointer each and Pascal Siakam fights on the offensive glass for a putback. Houston remains in the lead 49-35 with 3:14 to go in the half.

8:54 p.m. - The Rockets continue to add to their lead. Make that a 19-4 run to take a 42-23 lead, forcing the Raptors to take another timeout. Houston is getting whatever they want on the offensive end while the Raptors can't buy a bucket.

8:47 p.m. - Gerald Green scores seven straight points for the Rockets as they go on a 7-2 run to start the second quarter. Nick Nurse takes a timeout to talk things over.

End of first quarter: Rockets 23, Raptors 19

8:40 p.m. - After the first quarter the Rockets lead the Raptors 23-19. James Harden has nine points but is shooting 3-for-10 from the field. The Raptors are shooting 1-for-5 from beyond the arc and have five turnovers in the quarter.

8:31 p.m. - And now it's a 10-2 run going the other way. The Rockets get five quick points from Eric Gordon to regain an 18-13 lead with just under three minutes remaining in the quarter.

8:23 p.m. - After going down 8-4 to start the game, the Raptors are on a 7-0 run to lead the Rockets 11-8 with 6:21 to go in the first. Kawhi Leonard is cooking early with eight of Toronto's 11 points.

8:04 p.m. - The Rockets will start Chris Paul, James Harden, Eric Gordon, PJ Tucker and Clint Capela.

7:33 p.m. - The Raptors will go with Kyle Lowry, Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard, Pascal Siakam and Serge Ibaka as their starting five tonight!
