The Toronto Raptors open their four-game Western Conference road trip with a loss.
Behind 23 points from Michael Porter Jr. and a 19-point, 11-rebound double-double from Nikola Jokic, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Raptors on Thursday by a final score of 121-111.
OG Anunoby led the way for the Raptors with 25 points while Khem Birch scored a career-high 20 points.

11:20 p.m. - Well, that was quick. What was a competitive game through three quarters turned out to be a comfortable win for the Nuggets.
10:59 p.m. - Kyle Lowry knocks down a 3-pointer with 7:59 remaining in the quarter to give Toronto its first points of the quarter. Lead cut to 14.
10:58 p.m. - Make that a 15-0 run. Danger time for the Raptors.
10:52 p.m. - Uh oh. Nuggets open the quarter on a 9-0 run to take an 11-point lead. Timeout Raptors.

10:44 p.m. - Still close. Heading into the fourth, Nuggets hold a two-point lead.
Malachi Flynn (9) and Khem Birch (7) were the stars of the third quarter for the Raptors, combining for 16 points. Nikola Jokic (9) and Michael Porter Jr. (9) were ever-so-slightly better, combining for 18 points.
This one looks like it's going down to the wire.

10:36 p.m. - Nuggets score four quick points to take a six-point lead, their largest of the game. Raptors head coach Nick Nurse calls a timeout to stop the bleeding.
10:30 p.m. - Nikola Jokic is starting to heat up. After a 10-point first half, Jokic has nine points in the opening minutes of the third quarter.

10:08 p.m. - We have ourselves a close one.
The Nuggets outscore the Raptors 29-24 in the second quarter to take a two-point lead at the half.
OG Anunoby continues his strong play with 19 points and three assists through two quarters of play. Nikola Jokic leads the Nuggets with 10 points, six rebounds and two assists.
9:54 p.m. - Malachi Flynn is heading to the bench with 5:08 remaining in the half with three fouls. With him starting in place of the injured Fred VanVleet, foul trouble could become a factor later if this one remains close.
Flynn started the game 0-for-3 but got back-to-back jumpers to fall before picking up his third foul.
