The Toronto Raptors escape Tuesday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks with a 104-101 victory to make it three wins in a row.

It wasn't the prettiest victory, but it was indeed a victory as Toronto now improves to 31-12 on the season.

The Hawks turned the ball over 27 times leading to 34 Raptors points. Toronto wasn't much better taking care of the rock as they turned it over 19 times themselves.

In the end, Kawhi Leonard carried the team with 31 points, six rebounds and six crucial steals. OG Anunoby finished with 14 points off the bench in the win. 

All five Hawks starters finished with double digits scoring led by John Collins' 21 points, 14 boards. Jeremy Lin added 20 points in the loss. Vince Carter got a standing ovation when he checked into the game from the Toronto fans and finished with six points in 13 minutes in what might be the final time he plays in Canada in his career.

9:57 p.m. — Trae Young dribbles inside misses the layup as Kawhi comes over for the block attempt. Ibaka grabs the ball finds Lowry who finds Anunoby all alone for the dunk with 0.07 seconds left. Hawks inbound Vince Carter's half court heave is no good! Ball game!

9:56 p.m. — The Hawks have played their hearts out to get to this point with a chance to take the lead....Raptors 102 Hawks 101, Atlanta ball with 17.1 left.


9:51 p.m. — Hawks have stayed with the Raptors all game long even though they've committed 27 turnovers which has led to 34 Toronto points.

9:43 p.m. — John Collins banging down low on OG and winning that battle. Collins has 21 points, 14 boards.


9:32 p.m. — Hawks start the fourth period on an 11-6 run and take a two point lead 88-86 with 8:20 to play in the game. Kawhi and Kyle Lowry were both resting on the bench during the run, expect one or both of them to check back in after the time out.

The Hawks have been able to pound the Raptors inside with 42 points in the paint. Toronto has got out on the break with 18 fast break points. Whoever takes care of the rock should be able to gain some sort of advantage in the fourth.

8:37 p.m. — Raptors make a small run to close the period, but the Hawks take a one point led into half. Kawhi leads all scorers with 15 points, Fred VanVleet added nine points, four rebounds, two assists. John Collins leads the way for the Hawks with 12 points, seven rebounds. Jeremy Lin has 11 points.

8:26 p.m. —  Time out on the floor. Sloppy game so far for both teams. Raptors with 11 turnovers, Hawks with 10. Hawks have shot better from the land beyond and that's why they have the lead at the moment. John Collins has also been solid to start the game with 12 points, six rebounds in 17 minutes. Hawks led 51-44.
