According to reports, the Toronto Raptors are set to sign Dalano Banton to a two-year, $2.5 million rookie contract.
Shams Charania of The Athletic broke the news first, with the 21-year-old small forward currently in Las Vegas with the Summer League squad.
Toronto Raptors' Dalano Banton -- the No. 46 pick in 2021 NBA Draft -- is signing a two-year, $2.5M rookie deal, sources tell me and @BlakeMurphyODC.- Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) August 14, 2021
Selected with the 46th overall pick in the Draft, Banton became the first Canadian selected by the franchise.
At 6-foot-9, Banton's versatility as a scorer and passer has been on show in Summer League. He came off the bench to score eight points in 15 minutes of floor time in Toronto's last star win over the Houston Rockets including this nice dime off the dribble.

Banton joins Scottie Barnes and David Johnson in the Raptors' draft class of 2021.
