The Toronto Raptors announced on Thursday that they have signed guard Matt Morgan.

As Josh Lewenberg of TSN noted, Morgan will fill Toronto's 20th training camp roster spot after the Raptors waived Sagaba Konate on Wednesday. Morgan is a candidate to sign an Exhibit 10 contract and spend most of the season playing with the Raptors 905 in the G League.

Standing at 6-foot-2 and 174 pounds, Morgan played four seasons at Cornell University, where he averaged 20.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. He shot 47.0 percent from the field and 37.7 percent from 3-point range in his collegiate career.

Morgan graduated as Cornell's all-time leading scorer.

Morgan was a member of Toronto's Summer League team in 2019. He averaged 4.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists over four games.
