Toronto Raptors big man Serge Ibaka to host Instagram Live talent show; donating $20K to coronavirus relief

With the NBA season suspended due to the global coronavirus pandemic, players around the league continue to find new ways to keep themselves entertained and Serge Ibaka is no different.

The Raptors big man announced today that he'll be hosting an Instagram Live talent show billed 'How Talented Are You?' and will donate $20,000 towards COVID-19 relief efforts in the competition winners' city.

“While we are all social distancing and in quarantine, I’d like to bring positivity and reward talent and creativity,” Ibaka wrote on Twitter.

The competition, a spin-off from Ibaka's popular cooking show 'How Hungry Are You?' will begin with an open casting call on his Instagram page from Wednesday April 8.

Entrants must be over the age of 18 to participate and must first follow Ibaka’s production company, Ouenze Entertainment. on Instagram. The winner will also receive a signed Ibaka #9 jersey. 

Ibaka has been keeping himself busy during self-isolation, building a home gym to keep fit, hosting social media cooking lessons and most importantly, giving fans a tutorial on how to take their scarf game to the next level.
