Pascal Siakam's big night leads the Raptors past the Pelicans

The Toronto Raptors closed out preseason with a win over the New Orleans Pelicans 134-119. They finish with a 4-1 record heading into the regular season.

This was Pascal Siakam's night, taking it to Anthony Davis all game long, finishing with a double-double. Davis had a great night as well, scoring a game-high 36 points.

The Raptors had seven players in double figures and knocked down 14 threes in the win.

10:23 p.m. - And that will do it! The Raptors come away with the win, 134-119, despite sitting most of their top players! It was Pascal Siakam's night as he finished with 21 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and four steals to lead the Raptors to victory. Malachi Richardson finished strong with a big night as well, scoring 21 points on an 8-for-15 clip from the field in just under 27 minutes of play. Toronto had seven players in double figures and knocked down 14 threes! They finish preseason 4-1.

Anthony Davis did all he could, scoring 36 points and grabbing 15 rebounds in the loss. Julius Randle also had a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. The Pelicans finish preseason 0-5.

10:16 p.m. - The Raptors lead by 10, 124-114, with 3:45 remaining in the game. Five straight points for Malachi Richardson extended the Raptors lead.

10:03 p.m. - Chris Boucher has been taken to the locker room after a hard fall fighting for a rebound. There is a stoppage in play, Raptors lead 109-107 with eight minutes remaining.

9:53 p.m. - A 34 point quarter for the Raptors! Toronto leads 101-96 going into the fourth quarter. Pascal Siakam continues to stuff the stat sheet with 21 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and four steals. Both Malachi Richardson (11 points) and Jordan Loyd (12 points) are starting to heat up for Toronto as well. Anthony Davis has been incredible in this one, notching a double-double with 34 points and 14 rebounds.

9:35 p.m. - The Raptors have increased their lead to 82-77 with just over seven minutes left in the third. Lorenzo Brown has seven points shooting 3-for-3 in the quarter thus far.

9:18 p.m. - Pascal Siakam taking Anthony Davis off the dribble in a 1-on-1 isolation in the first half is exactly how the game is going for the Raptors.

9:11 p.m. - Halftime! This Raptors group is scrapping so far, leading the Pelicans 67-64. Pascal Siakam is lighting it up with 20 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals in 18 minutes of play. C.J. Miles and OG Anunoby have added 14 and 13 points, respectively. For the Pelicans, it's Anthony Davis who's getting it done with 23 points, eight rebounds and three blocks, shooting 8-for-10 from the field. Julius Randle has chipped in 13 points and five rebounds off the bench as well.

Toronto is being outrebounded 25 to 17 and has allowed the Pelicans to shoot 55.6 percent from the field but remain in the lead because they have knocked down eight threes to New Orleans' four.

9:02 p.m. - Pascal Siakam slashes through the lane and throws it down! Raptors hold a slight lead 53-52 with about three minutes remaining in the half.

8:46 p.m. - Now it's C.J. Miles heating up! A jumper, dunk and three-ball puts Miles at 10 points on the night AND gives the Raptors a 42-41 lead early in the second quarter!

8:38 p.m. - The Raptors trail 37-31 after one quarter. Anthony Davis looks to be in regular season form with 16 points, five rebounds and three blocks in 12 minutes. OG Anunoby's 11 points are a team high, but Pascal Siakam is filling it up early with eight points, two rebounds, three assists and a steal. Toronto has to step it up on defense as New Orleans is shooting 60.9 percent from the field.

8:28 p.m. - OG is feeling it from three! He is now 3-for-3 from beyond the arc and has 11 points on the night.

8:22 p.m. - Jrue Holiday drops a dime back to Anthony Davis on the break for a big time dunk!

8:18 p.m. - Anthony Davis is off to a hot start for the Pelicans with seven points shooting 3-for-3 from the field. OG Anunoby has six points early after knocking down his first two threes. New Orleans leads 17-13 early.

7:32 p.m. - The Pelicans are going with Elfrid Payton, Jrue Holiday, E'Twaun Moore, Nikola Mirotic and Anthony Davis as their starting five.

7:11 p.m. - The New Orleans Pelicans will be without Alexis Ajinca (quad) and Jahlil Okafor (ankle) tonight.

7:05 p.m. - The Raptors will start Lorenzo Brown, Jordan Loyd, OG Anunoby, Pascal Siakam and Greg Monroe.

6:45 p.m. - The Toronto Raptors will be resting Kyle Lowry, Kawhi Leonard, Jonas Valanciunas, Serge Ibaka, Fred VanVleet, Danny Green, Norman Powell and Delon Wright tonight. Take a look at what the roster will look like:
