Preseason Game No. 2 didn't go quite as well as Preseason Game No. 1 for the Toronto Raptors.

After defeating the Portland Trail Blazers by 18 points in Vancouver on Saturday, the Raptors lost to the Utah Jazz by 15 points on Tuesday.

On the bright side, Kawhi Leonard looked terrific in this one, scoring 17 points in his 18 minutes on the court. Jonas Valanciunas also came to play for the Raptors, following his 17 point performance against the Trail Blazers over the weekend with a team-high 18 points against the Jazz.

Toronto Raptors vs. Utah Jazz updates

11:29 p.m. - That'll do it in Utah. The Jazz walk away with the 105-90 win.

Sure Not Now

Neither Kyle Lowry nor Kawhi Leonard played in the second half of this one. Kawhi in particular looked awesome when he was on the court, scoring 17 points in 18 minutes.

For the Jazz, Joe Ingles celebrated his birthday with a game-high 24 points. Rudy Gobert recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, and he blocked five shots for good measure.

11:26 p.m. - Is this good? It doesn't sound good.

11:08 p.m. - Grayson Allen is starting to make some plays. After knocking down a 3-pointer, the rookie got up high for this dunk:

10:59 p.m. - The Toronto Raptors are still within striking distance in this one thanks to Jonas Valanciunas. The Lithuanian scored eight points in the second half of the third quarter, bringing his point total up to 18 for the night.

10:48 p.m. - The birthday boy can't miss! Joe Ingles is now up to 24 points on 5-for-11 shooting from deep in 22 minutes on the floor.

10:46 p.m. - The Utah Jazz are on a - wait for it - 24-4 run. What was once a nine point lead by the Toronto Raptors is now an 11 point lead for the Jazz. This got out of hand quickly.

10:34 p.m. - That was quick. Nick Nurse calls a timeout following a 9-0 run by the Utah Jazz. The game is now tied at 58.

10:23 p.m. - In case you missed them, here are all six of Kawhi Leonard's field goals from the first half:

10:19 p.m. - The clearest sign that Kawhi Leonard is still working off some rust? He's now 10-for-19 (52.6 percent) from the free throw line in preseason. Kawhi's a 84.6 percent shooter from there in his career, so you can expect that number to improve as he settles in.

10:15 p.m. - The Toronto Raptors lead 58-49 at the half.

Kawhi Leonard still leads the way for Toronto with 17 points. On the Utah side, Joe Ingles has 16 points in 14 minutes.

10:13 p.m. - The Toronto Raptors had a comfortable lead until Joe Ingles went on a personal 10-4 run. Toronto's lead is now down to single digits.

10:01 p.m. - The Utah Jazz have no answer for Kawhi Leonard right now. He's up to 15 points in the first half.

9:55 p.m. - Kawhi Leonard looks great. He has 12 points on 5-for-9 shooting in 12 minutes of action.

Kawhi's last basket came off of a pick-and-pop with Serge Ibaka, which is going to be hard for even the best defenses in the league to stop when the two have it going like they do tonight:

9:50 p.m. - Good things always seem to happen when Fred VanVleet is in the game. He has three points, three assists, two rebounds and one steal in six minutes off the bench.

The Toronto Raptors have outscored the Utah Jazz by six with him on the court.

9:49 p.m. - We talked about it after the first preseason game, but expect Pascal Siakam to push the pace off of misses more often this season, like this:

9:40 p.m. - The Toronto Raptors tied the game up at 25 with 1:13 remaining ... and then a couple of silly mistakes led to easy buckets for the Utah Jazz.

The score is 31-25 after one.

Kawhi Leonard has a team-high eight points on 3-for-6 shooting from the field. Jonas Valanciunas is off to another strong start with six early points.

For the Jazz, Rudy Gobert and Jae Crowder lead the way with six points each.

9:35 p.m. - Kawhi Leonard looks pretty healthy, wouldn't you say?

9:22 p.m. - First break in the action. The Toronto Raptors currently trail the Utah Jazz by four points.

Kawhi Leonard has a quick four points for the Raptors on 1-for-2 shooting from 3-point range and 1-for-2 shooting from the free throw line. Rudy Gobert, meanwhile, has four points and three blocks for the Jazz.

9:18 p.m. - Kawhi Leonard's first bucket of the night? A deep pull-up in transition.

9:16 p.m. - Rudy Gobert has been a problem for the Toronto Raptors in the early going of this game. In less than three minutes, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year has three blocks - and he's altered at least a couple more shots at the rim.

9:05 p.m. - It's almost game time. Let's. Go.

8:25 p.m. - Starting for the Utah Jazz: Ricky Rubio, Donovan Mitchell, Joe Ingles, Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert.

7:48 p.m. - The Toronto Raptors can only hope that Kawhi Leonard returns to full strength this season because they'll be getting one of the best players in the league if he does.

Just look at this table from Jacob Goldstein of BBall Index :

Keep in mind that Kawhi was limited in the nine games he played in 2017-18, so the lower grades there aren't a huge surprise. The career grades are the ones to focus on.

That's the Kawhi Leonard who can take the Raptors to a new level this season.

7:47 p.m. - OG Anunoby will not play in this one due to personal reasons, per The Athletic's Blake Murphy.

7:30 p.m. - The Toronto Raptors will be starting Kyle Lowry, Kyle Collinsworth, Kawhi Leonard, CJ Miles and Jonas Valanciunas tonight.

Not familiar with Collinsworth? Click here for some fast facts on the 26-year-old.

7:16 p.m. - Kawhi Leonard is pretty good at this whole shooting thing, huh?

3:01 p.m. - Toronto Raptors fans will be happy to hear that Kawhi Leonard "felt great" and had "no pain" in Saturday's preseason opener.
