The Raptors will be without Pascal Siakam, Norman Powell and Marc Gasol when they take on the Washington Wizards on Friday, but Toronto will be getting some help in the form of Fred VanVleet, who will return after missing the last five games with a knee injury.
VanVleet will reportedly start the game alongside Kyle Lowry, Patrick McCaw, OG Anunoby and Serge Ibaka.

Prior to the injury, VanVleet was averaging career-highs of 18.0 points, 7.0 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 2.0 steals in 36.6 minutes per game. He ranks third on the team in scoring and second in assists on the season.
"He's got a little swelling," Raptors head coach Nick Nurse said of VanVleet earlier this month. "He banged knees with someone a couple games ago. It just needs to be managed."
