Report: Toronto Raptors call up Chris Boucher from G League

With Jonas Valanciunas set to miss at least a month after undergoing surgery on his left thumb, the Toronto Raptors have reportedly called Chris Boucher up from the G League.

Boucher will be with the Raptors on Friday when they take on Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers.

Boucher signed a two-way contract with the Raptors before the season began and has been playing primarily in the G League for the team's affiliate, the Raptors 905. Through 14 games, Boucher is averaging 29.0 points, 11.6 rebounds and 4.6 blocks per contest.

Boucher was named the G League Player of the Month for November and recently broke the 905's scoring record - previously set by him - with 47 points against the Oklahoma City Blue. He also blocked nine shots and grabbed eight rebounds in that game.
