Toronto Raptors announce return of 'Dino' throwback jersey for the 2019-20 NBA season

The 2019-20 NBA season will be a special one for the Toronto Raptors.

One season after winning their first NBA title, the franchise will be celebrating their 25th anniversary of joining the NBA.

To honour the occasion, the Raptors have announced they will bring back the "Dino" jersey that the team wore from their inaugural season in 1995 until 1999.

While they were criticized at first, these jerseys have become an all-time classic as time has passed. These signature uniforms have not only become a Raptors fan favourite, but a favourite throwback jersey for all NBA fans.

It has also been rumoured that the Raptors will be pairing these uniforms with a throwback court, though there have been no official reports yet.

Toronto will begin its preseason on Oct. 8 when it heads to Tokyo, Japan to face off against the Houston Rockets in two contests for the 2019 NBA Japan Games.
