The Toronto Raptors have announced their coaching staff changes for the 2020-21 NBA season.
Joining Nick Nurse's staff as assistant coaches for the upcoming season are Chris Finch and Jama Mahlalela.

Finch has been an assistant coach in the NBA since 2011, starting with the Houston Rockets (2011-16). He has since been on the staff of the Denver Nuggets (2016-17) and New Orleans Pelicans (2017-20).
Finch and Nurse have a relationship that goes back almost 20 years. Finch and Nurse coached against each other in the British Basketball League earlier in their careers and Nurse served as an assistant coach under Finch on the Great Britain Men's National Basketball Team between 2009 and 2012.

Mahlalela was an assistant coach on the Raptors between 2013-18. He then took over as the head coach of the Toronto's G League affiliate, the Raptors 905, accumulating a 51-42 (.548) record in his two seasons with the team.
Mahlalela grew up in the Greater Toronto Arena, playing collegiately at the University of British Columbia. He also spent four seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Toronto.
Patrick Mutumbo will replace Mahlalela as the head coach of the 905, the Raptors announced. Brittni Donaldson and John Bennett will join Mutumbo on the 905.
