Another big day for basketball at the Tokyo Olympics is in the books.

Men's: Germany 99, Nigeria 92
It was a back-and-forth battle between Germany in a game that featured 14 ties and 13 lead changes.
With the scores tied at 81-81 with 6:05 remaining in the game, Germany found an extra gear, using a 14-0 run in the final minutes to pull away.
Danilo Barthel was huge in that burst for Germany going 4-of-4 from the field in the fourth with his jumper kick-starting the late surge. He finished with 14 points on the night, while Johnannes Voigtmann led them with 19 points and Moritz Wagner 17. Maodo Lo had 13 points and nine assists in the win.
Jordan Nwora scored 33 points for Nigeria, while Miye Oni added 15 as they fall to 0-2 through their first two games.

Men's: United States 120, Iran 66
Team USA bounced back from their opening game defeat to France with an emphatic 54-point win — their biggest margin of victory since their 57-point win over China at the Rio 2016 Olympics.
Damian Lillard led six players in double figures with 21 points, while Devin Booker added 16 and Jayson Tatum 14.
Lillard shot 7-of-13 from beyond the arc, becoming the fourth player in USA history to knock down seven 3-pointers in an Olympic game.
Gregg Popovich tweaked his starting lineup for tonight's game, inserting Jrue Holiday and Devin Booker in place of Zach LaVine and Draymond Green, giving USA a faster, more spaced lineup, which saw them make it rain from the 3-point line, going 19-of-39 on the night.
USA outscored Iran 37-2 on points off turnovers and in turn dominated on the frastbreak with 38 points to five.
Former NBA big man Hamed Haddadi was Iran's top scorer with 14 points and seven rebounds.

Men's: Australia 86, Italy 83
The Australian Boomers remain unbeaten in Tokyo, holding off Italy to move clear at the top of Group B.
Jock Landale led five players in double figures with 18 points and seven rebounds, while Patty Mills added 16 points, and Nick Kay 15. Joe Ingles and Aron Baynes chipped in 14 apiece.
It was a tight game through three quarters until the Boomers held Italy scoreless for four minutes to in the final frame to seize control of the contest. Simon Fontecchio cut the deficit to four points with a four-point play with 3:48 remaining, before patty Mills iced the game with a layup with 32 seconds to go.
With Mills drawing plenty of attention on the defensive end, the Aussie big men took over, dominating the glass as they outrebounded Italy (44-31), especially on the offensive end (16-6), which led to them a 17-5 advantage in second-chance points
Simon Fontecchio led Italy with 22 points, while Nico Mannion added 21 points and seven assists.

Men's: France 97, Czech Republic 77
France remains atop Group A with a convincing 20-point victory over the Czech Republic.
Now 2-0 in group play, France was led by Evan Fournier, who led all scorers with 21 points on 8-for-13 (61.5 percent) shooting, while Nando de Colo added 17 points and eight assists for the French. Three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert finished with six points but pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds.
After trailing by six points at the end of one, France outscored the Czech Republic 29-12 in the second frame to take an 11-point lead into the halftime break. They would never look back.
France continued to pull away in the second half, outscoring the Czech Republic 46-37 in the second half to cruise to the win.
For the Czech Republic, former lottery pick Jan Vesely led the way with 19 points on 9-for-12 (75.0 percent) shooting, while Ondrej Balvin added 18 points (on 8-for-11 shooting) and Chicago Bulls guard Tomas Satoransky finished with 14 points and a game-high nine assists.
