In honour of Steve Nash being inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday, we're rolling out Nash Week! Each day we'll be celebrating his finest moments and looking back at what makes him one of the greatest point guards to ever play the game.

Today, we're looking at the 13 stats that define Nash's Hall of Fame career.

11

Nash is one of only 11 players in NBA history to have won back-to-back MVP trophies.

48

The most points Nash scored in a single game in his NBA career. It came in Game 4 of Phoenix's second round series against the Mavericks in the 2005 postseason. He shot 20-for-28 from the field, 4-for-6 from 3-point range and 4-for-4 from the free throw line.

42.78

Nash's career 3-point percentage. It ranks ninth all-time. The only players ahead of him who have made more 3-pointers in their NBA careers are Stephen Curry and Kyle Korver.

90.43

Nash's career free throw percentage. There isn't a player in NBA history who has converted their free throw attempts at a higher rate.

60.45

Nash's career True Shooting Percentage. It ranks 16th all-time behind a group of big men (Artis Gilmore, DeAndre Jordan, Tyson Chandler) and sharpshooters (Stephen Curry, Reggie Miller, James Harden).

4

How many seasons Nash shot at least 50 percent form the field, 40 percent from the 3-point line and 90 percent from the free throw line. It's the most in NBA history.

The only other players to reach those marks are Larry Bird (twice), Mark Price (once), Reggie Miller (once), Dirk Nowitzki (once), Kevin Durant (once) and Stephen Curry (once).

Nash came close to a fifth 50-40-90 season, too. All he had to do was make one more free throw in 2006-07.

23

The most assists Nash dished out in a single game in his NBA career. It came in Game 4 of Phoenix's first round series against the Lakers in the 2007 postseason. He committed only three turnovers.

5

How many times Nash led the league in assists per game. Only Oscar Robertson (six), Bob Cousy (eight) and John Stockton (nine) have done it more times in their NBA careers.

10,335

How many total assists Nash dished out in his NBA career. It's the third-highest mark ever. The only players ahead of him? John Stockton (15,806) and Jason Kidd (12,091).

41.47

Nash's career assist percentage. It's the sixth-highest rate all-time.

7

How many All-NBA teams Nash made in his career. It's the same amount as Dominique Wilkins, Allen Iverson, Tracy McGrady and Scottie Pippen, and more than Carmelo Anthony, Jason Kidd, James Harden and Stephen Curry.

8

How many times Nash was voted an All-Star. It puts him on the same page as Dwight Howard, Yao Ming, Dikembe Mutombo and Vince Carter to name a few legends.

13
