In honour of Steve Nash's induction to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday night, former Dallas Mavericks teammate Dirk Nowitzki is assisting Nash for all the times Nash assisted him.

The one-time NBA champion posted on Twitter that he's making a $13 donation to Nash's charity and asked his followers to do the same.

The Steve Nash Foundation is a private foundation dedicated to assisting underserved children in their health, personal development, education and enjoyment of life. The foundation focuses its resources on underserved populations of children at home in British Columbia and around the world.

Through the Foundations' platforms, Steve works to increase access to critical needs resources, and provide a foundation for health and strength in our communities.

Every dollar donated goes directly to the programs and children served by the Steve Nash Foundation.
