Steve Kerr calls Stephen Curry's circus layup in San Antonio 'Jordan-esque'

"That shot was Jordan-esque," Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said postgame in San Antonio.

The eight-time NBA Champion (as player and coach) referring to a circus layup Curry made in the final minutes of the first quarter in the Warriors' game against the Spurs.

Curry started the game, the second of a back-to-back and finale of the team's four-game Texas road trip, on fire, dropping 12 points in the first quarter.

The back-and-forth game was close all through the first half. Then, in the third quarter, the visitors opened it up by outscoring the hosts 36-20 and Curry had 16 of those including this buzzer-beating 3:

That three was Curry's fourth of the game, extending his streak of knocking down at least four 3-pointers to 12 games - tied for the second-longest in the NBA history and also ties the longest of Curry's career.

At the final horn, he finished with 32 points in 32 minutes on 11-of-20 shooting from the field, 4-of-10 from long distance, and 6-of-8 from the free-throw line. He was one of seven Warriors to score in double figures as they comfortably beat the Spurs 114-91, avenging a close loss just 24 hours earlier.

Through 25 games this season, Curry is averaging 29.6 points per game - second-best in the league.

The win helps the Warriors cap off their road trip 2-2, and improve to 13-12 while the Spurs dropped to 14-11.
