There were eight games of NBA action this Saturday!

Here are the biggest storylines after the completion of the eight games:

  • After losing two in a row, Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets bounce back with a road win in Orlando.
  • Reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks got the better of the visiting Toronto Raptors in a rematch of the Conference Finals.
  • Despite not Draymond Green and D'Angelo Russell, the Warriors came mighty close to their first home win of the season but faltered in the closing seconds.
  • Despite missing Joel Embiid, the 76ers traveled to Portland and remained the only undefeated in the NBA.

Oklahoma City Thunder 115, New Orleans Pelicans 104

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continued his pace as the Thunder's leading scorer, going for 23 points to go with eight rebounds and four assists in a win over the Pelicans. Chris Paul added 15 points and nine assists while Dennis Schroder went for 17 points and nine rebounds to help OKC secure the win.


Detroit Pistons def. Brooklyn Nets, 113-109

Andre Drummond knocks down two clutch free throws to ice the win, leading the Pistons with 25 points, 20 rebounds, six assists, three steals and five blocks. 

Denver Nuggets def. Orlando Magic, 91-97

The Nuggets snap their two-game losing streak with a narrow win over the Magic, led by Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.

Murray scored a team-high 22 points, while Jokic added 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
