The Sacramento Kings defeated the San Antonio Spurs 127-112, snapping their five-game win streak.

The Kings have had a surprisingly fantastic first half of the season with different players in their young core stepping up each time they take the floor.

Tonight was no different with six players scoring in double figures.

Sacramento got out to a hot start with a 37-point first quarter to take an early lead, but the Spurs fought back to make it a four-point game at the half.

Budding star point guard De'Aaron Fox came out gunning in the second half, scoring 11 points in the third quarter alone to give his team a commanding 12-point lead going into the final quarter.

The Spurs got the game as close as six points at the start of the fourth but a 15-5 run by Sacramento proved to be too much for San Antonio to overcome on the road.

The run was sparked by the play of rookie Marvin Bagley III and reserve guard Yogi Farrell. These two became the X-factor of the night, pushing the Kings over the top to earn the win.

Bagley finished with a career-high 24 points and 12 rebounds, leading the team in scoring while Farrell posted 19 points off the bench in just 17 minutes of play.

Fox had a solid night of 20 points, six rebounds and six assists and Buddy Hield scored 18 to go with eight boards and five assists, further proving the balanced production the Kings got tonight.

They overcame 22 points and nine boards from All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge and a team-high 24 points from DeMar DeRozan.

The Kings have now won three games in a row and seven consecutive games at home.

This team continues to try and fight their way into the Western Conference playoff picture as they sit in at 28-25, just 0.5 games back from the No. 8 seed.
