Sacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield re-wrote the record books, becoming the fastest player to reach 1,000 3-pointers, passing Steph Curry's previous mark of 369 games.

In his 350th game, Hield needed seven triples to break Curry's record and midway through the third quarter of their 127-126 loss to the Charlotte Hornets, De'Aaron Fox found Hield for the record-breaking bucket.

Hield knocked down eight triples on the night, recording a season-high 30 points, seven assists and two rebounds, but it wasn't enough as the Hornets stormed home on a 15-5 run to spoil the party.
