In a win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday, Houston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook recorded the 139th triple-double of his NBA career.

Westbrook now stands alone at second all-time in career triple-doubles.

In recording 28 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds, Westbrook moved passed Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson. The only player ahead of him now on the leaderboard is Oscar Robertson, who totaled 181 triple-doubles in his Hall of Fame career.

Jason Kidd (107) and LeBron James (81) round out the top-five.

Westbrook has averaged a triple-double in three consecutive seasons. His career-high for triple-doubles in a single season is 42, which he did in 2016-17 when he was named the league's MVP. It's therefore unlikely that Westbrook will catch Robertson this season.

Westbrook came close to a triple-double in his debut with the Rockets earlier this week, finishing with 24 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists in a loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
