RJ Barrett is the second member of the New York Knicks to be placed in the NBA's Health and Safety Protocols in a 24-hour period.

On Sunday, the team announced that Barrett would be unavailable for a meeting with the Milwaukee Bucks after being placed in the protocols.

Barrett's addition to the health and safety protocols comes just 16 hours after the Knicks announced that second-year forward Obi Toppin would be unavailable for the Bucks game after entering the protocols.

Any player that enters the NBA's Health and Safety Protocols must be sidelined for 10 days or record two negative PCR tests in a 24-hour period before they can resume basketball activities. Should both Barrett and Toppin be sidelined for 10 days, they will miss at least five of the Knicks' upcoming games.

Through 25 games this season, Barrett is averaging 15.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest while Toppin has posted averages of 8.7 points and 3.9 rebounds in 26 appearances.

New York enters its meeting with Milwaukee with a 12-14 record this season.

More to come.
