The Toronto Raptors have reportedly signed Isaac Bonga, according to The Athletic's Blake Murphy.

Bonga became an unrestricted free agent after the Washington Wizards did not extend him a qualifying offer and as Murphy reports, the deal will likely include a small guarantee and give him the opportuity to compete for a roster spot in training camp.

The Raptors roster currently has 16 players on the team and can carry up to 20 into training camp.

The 22-year-old played the past two seasons with the Wizards after being drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018 with the 39th pick in the draft

At 6-foot-8, with a 7-foot wingspan, Bonga fits the profile of the Raptors roster, who value length and versatility in players who can switch and defend multiple positions.

With the addition of Bonga, they now have nine players with wingspans over seven-feet, with all but three players on the roster standing over 6-foot-5.
