Nando De Colo, one of the best guards in the world outside of the NBA is planning a return to the league.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that De Colo, who's spent the last five season in the Euroleague playing for CSKA Moscow could command top dollar in the NBA.

"I have asked my agents to explore NBA opportunities over the coming weeks," De Colo told Wojnarowski. "I am excited for the next challenge in my career."

De Colo left the NBA after the 2013-14 season which he finished with the Toronto Raptors. They still hold the Frenchman's rights. Should he return to the league, the Raptors will have the option to extend a qualifying offer to match any offer he would receive from another team as he's a restricted free agent to the club.

In the Euroleague, De Colo has won two championships and was named a to the first-team All-EuroLeague three time.

This past season he averaged 14.7 points, 3.4 assists per game for CSKA.

With Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet already in the backcourt, it will be interesting to see if the Raptors decide to bring in De Colo.

He can provide more size and length as he stands 6'5' and he shot the ball well from three at 43%.
