It appears as though Paul George will make his debut with the LA Clippers soon.

According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, the six-time All-Star could return next week, either when the Clippers play the Houston Rockets on Nov. 13 or the New Orleans Pelicans on Nov. 14. If he plays against the Rockets, he's not expected to play against the Pelicans, Amick added.

George is coming off of the best season of his career. With averages of 28.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.2 steals per game, he was both a finalist for league MVP and Defensive Player of the Year last season.

In the offseason, George was traded to the Clippers by the Oklahoma City Thunder for a massive haul that included Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari and five first-round picks.

George has been sidelined after undergoing two procedures this offseason, one on his right shoulder to repair a partially torn tendon, the other on his left shoulder to repair a small tear in his labrum.

The Clippers have gotten the season off to a strong start even without George. They've won five of their first seven games and have the third-best offence in the league.

With George, they have the potential to reach new heights on both ends of the court.
