The 2020-21 season is the final year on Giannis Antetokounmpo's current contract and the Milwaukee Bucks aren't holding back in the attempt to assemble a better roster around the two-time reigning MVP, after a disappointing end to the 2019-20 season.

Hours after reportedly acquiring Jrue Holiday in a trade with the New Orleans Pelicans, Milwaukee has reportedly landed Serbian Bogdan Bogdanovic in a sign-and-trade, as per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

As part of the deal, the Bucks will reportedly also acquire Justin James.

Bogdanovic, the clear best player in this reported deal, played 61 games for the Kings this past season. He finished with averages of 15.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in just 29.1 minutes of action - his third season in the NBA.

Aged 28, the Serbian is a proven winner from his time in Europe with two Turkish League titles (2016, 17) and the 2017 EuroLeague championship to his name.

While some part of the bench has been depleted, with this deal, the Bucks have assembled a very formidable starting line-up in Holiday, Bogdanovic, Khris Middleton, Antetokounmpo, and Brook Lopez.
