It's the start of a big week in the NBA, and teams are getting in position to be best prepared for the upcoming 2020-21 season.

Less than a day after Chris Paul was reportedly traded to the Phoenix Suns, the Milwaukee Bucks have made a big splash. As per The Athletic's Shams Charania, they have acquired two-way guard Jrue Holiday from the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for Eric Bledsoe and George Hill and plenty of Draft compensation.

The report further states that the Draft assets shipped from the Bucks to the Pelicans includes three first-round draft picks and two future draft pick swaps

Holiday, 30, is entering the penultimate season (provided he picks up player option for 2021-22 season) of the five-year $131 million deal he signed with New Orleans in 2017. He averaged 19.1 points, 6.7 assists, 4.8 rebounds, and a career-high 1.6 steals in 61 games over the course of the 2019-20 season.

Although he was not named in the All-Defensive Team for the 2019-20 season, he is regarded among the best defensive and two-way guards in the league. Twice in the last three years, he has been named to the league's All-Defensive Team (2018 - First Team; 2019 - Second Team).
