Report: LiAngelo Ball is one among three waived by Detroit Pistons

LaVar Ball's dream of seeing his three sons play in the NBA nearly came true when his middle son LiAngelo signed a one-year non-guaranteed deal with the Pistons.

However, nearly a fortnight since then, he is one among three to be cut by the team - as per The Athletic's James Edwards.

Since signing with the team, Ball didn't log a single minute in any of the Pistons' two preseason games so far - both at the Little Caesars Arena against the New York Knicks.

The 22-year-old LiAngelo spent part of last season in the G League with the Oklahoma City Blue as a practice player and was set to make his debut prior to the suspension of the season due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
