Report: Jamal Crawford agrees to deal with Brooklyn Nets ahead of NBA season restart in Orlando

Jamal Crawford is back!

The 40-year-old has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Brooklyn Nets to join the team for the NBA season restart in Orlando, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The Nets are short on players heading into the bubble, with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving sidelined with long-term injuries, while DeAndre Jordan, Taurean Prince, Wilson Chandler, and Spencer Dinwiddie have also opted out of playing due to concerns surrounding COVID-19.

Crawford has been out of the NBA for over a year, last playing with the Phoenix Suns in 2018-19, where he averaged 7.9 points and 3.6 assists in 18.9 minutes per game off the bench.

In his final game of the season, the three-time Sixth Man of the Year winner poured in 51 points in a loss to the Dallas Mavericks, proving he is still a bucket after 19 seasons.

The Nets are currently in the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference, with the Orlando Magic a half-game back, while the Washington Wizards sit 6.5 games back in ninth.
