Report: Bradley Beal enters 'health and safety protocols' at Team USA Camp in Las Vegas

Washington Wizards starting shooting guard Bradley Beal has entered the 'health and safety protocols' at Team USA Camp in Las Vegas, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania and Joe Vardon.

A member of Team USA's 12-man roster for the Tokyo Olympics, Beal's status for the Olympics is in doubt, although, there is nothing definitive announced so far

The Tokyo Olympics were set to be the 6-3 guard's first international tournament for Team USA. 

Through the three exhibitions games, in which Team USA have gone 1-2, Beal started each game and averaged 10.3 points including a tied team-high 17 in the win against Argentina.

Beal is coming off a spectacular 2020-21 NBA season, a year that marked his first All-NBA selection, with career-high averages of 31.3 points on 48.5 percent shooting from the field.
