The homestand continues for the Toronto Raptors.

Sunday evening, the Raptors will host the Washington Wizards for the fourth game of a seven-game homestand.

TAKEAWAYS: VanVleet, Raptors hold off Bucks

Toronto is fresh off an impressive four-point win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday. Leading the way against the Bucks was Fred VanVleet, who finished with 29 points, five boards and four assists.

VanVleet was visibly passionate throughout the game, especially down the stretch, getting the Scotiabank Arena crowd involved. Unlike in years past, home wins have been hard to come by for the Raptors, who are 3-7 at home to start the season.

Earlier in the week, Pascal Siakam vowed that Toronto would fix its home woes, and the response was evident against Milwaukee. As OG Anunoby and Khem Birch remain out, things get no easier with the Wizards coming into town for the second and final time of the season.

MORE: Can Raptors get back on track in December?

Washington, which enters with one of the best records in the Eastern Conference, is looking to bounce back from a 15-point home loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.

In the Wizards' most recent loss, All-Star guard Bradley Beal finished with just 14 points on 6-of-17 shooting from the field. In two games against the Raptors this season, Beal is averaging 24.0 points, 5.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds.

Aside from Beal, Montrezl Harrell has performed well against the Raptors this season, posting averages of 18.0 points and 9.5 rebounds on 80.0 percent shooting.

With a thin frontcourt rotation, the Raptors will again have their hands full with the size and activity of Harrell and Daniel Gafford.

This is a game that could be decided in the paint.
