The Raptors go for their sixth win in a row on Sunday when they host the Pelicans at Scotiabank Arena.

Toronto is coming off of a 14-point win over the Utah Jazz in which a third-quarter takeover from Fred VanVleet altered the game's momentum. VanVleet, who scored 24 of his 37 points in the third, also added 10 rebounds and 10 assists to record the first triple-double of his NBA career.

Friday was a legitimate tale of two halves, as the Raptors outscored the Jazz 73-46 in the final two quarters to match a season-high win streak of five games.

Standing in the way between the Raptors and a new season-best win streak are the 14-25 Pelicans, but don't look too much into their record. After a 2-14 start to the season, New Orleans is 12-11 over its last 23 games, including a win over a Stephen Curry-less Warriors team on Thursday.

Fuelling the Pelicans' resurgence? One-time All-Star Brandon Ingram, who is averaging 22.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game this season. In addition to Ingram, former Raptor Jonas Valanciunas is averaging 18.6 points and 11.9 rebounds per game while shooting 52.0 percent from the field and 43.0 percent from deep.

Sunday marks Valanciunas' first time taking the floor at Scotiabank Arena since Dec. 9, 2018.

Can Toronto slow New Orleans' duo of Ingram and Valanciunas down to keep the momentum rolling?
