Raptors' Pascal Siakam defends Grizzlies' Ja Morant

Two games remain on Toronto's road trip.

Following a 119-104 loss to the Golden State Warriors, the Raptors head to Memphis to take on the Grizzlies, who are coming off of a big-time win over the Utah Jazz.

Ja Morant led the Grizzlies in scoring with 32 points against the Jazz, but Desmond Bane provided a much-needed scoring punch with a career-high 28 points. Jaren Jackson Jr. added a season-high 26 points and came up clutch, winning a jump ball against Rudy Gobert down the stretch and following it up with a game-winning 3-pointer.

The Grizzlies improved to 9-8 on the season with the win.

It's been a tough road trip for the Raptors to this point, going 1-3 so far. They've lost games to the Jazz, Warriors and Portland Trail Blazers, with their lone victory coming against the Sacramento Kings, who recently parted ways with head coach Luke Walton.

One positive for the Raptors has been the play of Pascal Siakam. He struggled against the Jazz, scoring four points on 2-for-14 shooting from the field, but he posted 20-plus points in the three other games, including a season-best 32 points in Toronto's win over Sacramento.

The Raptors are going to need more of that from Siakam as long as they're without OG Anunoby.
