The Raptors were scheduled to play the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday, Dec. 22, but it was postponed because Toronto did not have the "league-required eight available players to proceed with the game."

The Raptors have now had three of their last four games postponed.

The Raptors currently have 10 players in the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Pascal Siakam entered on Dec. 19, followed by Gary Trent Jr. on Dec. 20, Fred VanVleet, Malachi Flynn, Scottie Barnes and Precious Achiuwa on Dec. 21, OG Anunoby on Dec. 22, and Khem Birch, Justin Champagnie and Isaac Bonga on Dec. 25.

Faced with all of those absences, the Raptors announced on Thursday that they have signed Juwan Morgan, D.J. Wilson and Tremont Waters to 10-day contracts via the league's hardship exception.

They've also added G Leaguer Daniel Oturu to a 10-day COVID hardship exception the team announced.

Toronto's next game on the calendar is on Dec. 26, when the Raptors are scheduled to travel to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers for the second time this season. The first matchup went down to the wire, with the Cavaliers escaping with a 102-101 victory.

The Cavaliers are also dealing with a limited roster right now with eight players in health and safety protocols, including Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley.

The Cavaliers had their game against the Atlanta Hawks on Dec. 19 postponed. They played their next game, losing to the Boston Celtics by a final score of 111-101 on Dec. 22.
