Devin Booker re-aggravated his hamstring injury in Phoenix's 120-96 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, the team announced.

In the second quarter, Booker pulled up immediately after chasing a loose ball, grabbing his left hamstring. He went straight to the locker room and did not return.

Booker did not speak with meda post-game, while Suns coach Igor Kokoskov did not provide any update on the severity of Booker's injury when he spoke with reporters. Kokoskov did not rule out giving him an extended break after battling multiple injuries this season already.

"I'm very open [to resting Booker], but that's not my jurisdiction when it comes to the medical staff," Kokoskov said via Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic.. "We have a great medical staff. They're going to tell me as an organization what we should do."

The 22-year-old exited the game with six points on 3-of-8 shooting and two assists in 17 minutes of action.

The Suns, who now sit at 4-19 on the season, will be hoping Booker can return to the court sooner rather than later.

"I'm not sure how extreme it is right now, but of course, everybody knows we need him, desperately," Suns forward Josh Jackson said. "The sooner we can get him back, the better, but hopefully, we can get him back 100 percent."

Booker, who is averaging 24.5 points and seven assists this season, initially hurt his hamstring on October 24 against the Lakers, missing the next three games.
