Kobe Bryant and Antawn Jamison scored 51 points each as Jamison's Warriors took out Kobe's Lakers 125-122 in overtime.

With the game tied at 107 and 2.5 seconds on the clock Kobe just missed a contested three, sending the game into overtime. Both Bryant and Jamison carried their hot hand into the overtime period, doing the majority of the scoring for each of their teams.

Kobe had 12 of the Lakers' 15 points in overtime, going 4-for-5 from the field with his only miss coming on another deep contested three to try and send the game into double-overtime. Jamison had eight of the Warriors' 18 points in OT, converting all four of his field goals.

The Lakers went on to defeat Allen Iverson and the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA Finals that season, whereas that was one of the Warriors' 17 wins – carrying the second-worst record in the NBA that year.
