The Toronto Raptors have secured another piece of their young core, agreeing to a long-term extension with swingman OG Anunoby, the team announced today.
Anunboy's deal is worth $72 million over four years, including a player option for the 2024-25 season, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The 23-year-old has established himself as one of the most versatile defenders in the league and is coming off a season averaging 10.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game on 50.5 percent shooting from the field and 39.0 percent from the 3-point line.
"OG is the epitome of the skilled, powerful, determined player we want in our organisation long-term. Remember, he doesn't shoot to miss," General Manager Bobby Webster said. "We're really pleased that OG will be with us for seasons to come."
Entering his fourth season, Anunoby has developed into the Raptors' best defender and at 7-foot-7, 230 pounds, he offers them positional versatility with his ability to match up against bigger forwards and chase smaller guards around the perimeter.
Last season he finished finishing sixth among small forwards in defensive real plus-minus last year, per ESPN and showed in the bubble he can make an impact late in games on the offensive end, with his buzzer-beating three-pointer to give the Raptors a 104-103 win in Game 3 of their second-round series.
