Salary
According to Basketball Insiders and Early Bird Rights, the Jazz have $65.6 million committed to their roster for next season, giving them close to $40 million to work with in free agency.
Some of the max-level players who will or are expected to be free agents this summer: Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Kemba Walker, Klay Thompson, Jimmy Butler, Tobias Harris and Khris Middleton.
The Jazz could have less than that, however, depending on what they decide to do with Derrick Favors, Kyle Korver, Raul Neto, Georges Niang and Royce O'Neal, each of whom has either a partial guarantee or non-guarantee for next season.

It wouldn't be difficult for the Jazz to run it back next season, as Ricky Rubio is the only member of their core whose contract expires at the end of this season.
The question is do they want to go down that path after losing to the Rockets in back-to-back postseasons?
Will Jazz make a splash in free agency?
The way the Jazz can create enough money to be players in free agency is by letting Ricky Rubio walk and parting ways with Derrick Favors, Kyle Korver, Raul Neto, Georges Niang and Royce O'Neal.
It's risky considering some of them played a key role in the team's success during the regular season, but the Jazz would be able to use that money to sign a star or target multiple players who better address their needs.
The Jazz would benefit from having another playmaker and more shooters, both of which would help take some of the pressure off of rising star Donovan Mitchell.
Will the Jazz try to trade for Mike Conley?
One player the Jazz showed interest in prior to the trade deadline is Mike Conley, who averaged a career-best 21.1 points per game this season.
The Memphis Grizzlies ultimately decided to hold onto Conley, who is under team control until 2020-21.
