The Toronto Raptors have announced that Norman Powell is out indefinitely with a "subluxation of the left shoulder."

“[Powell] hurt his shoulder, obviously, and it’s gonna be a while,” Raptors head coach Nick Nurse said on Wednesday. “They’ve looked at it and it’s not good at this point. I think we’ll get him back to Toronto and make some more evaluations, but I think he’s going to be missing some weeks here.”

Powell hurt his shoulder in Toronto's game against the Utah Jazz on Monday after only 13 seconds of game time. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the expectation is that he'll miss between four and six weeks of action.

Powell is averaging 5.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game this season. He's appeared in 11 games, starting in two.
