#NBATogetherLive: Allen Iverson drops career-high 60 points against the Orlando Magic in 2005

The Allen Iverson Show was on full display against the Orlando Magic on February 12, 2005.

A.I. was unstoppable at home in a 112-99 win, pouring in a career-high 60 points, on 17-of-36 shooting and 24-of-27 from the free-throw line. He added a team-high six assists, five steals, and a block, while only committing three turnovers.

His previous career-high was 58 points against Houston on Jan. 15, 2002.

At the start of the season, Iverson moved from the two-guard to the point and with the ball in his hands, he turned in a monstrous offensive season, leading the league in scoring with 30.7 points per game, one of four scoring titles over his career.

His season included 35 games scoring 30+, nine games scoring 40+ and back-to-back 50-point games a couple months prior to his career-night.

Following his career-night, Iverson joined Wilt Chamberlain as the only 76ers players to score 60 points in a game.

"When you're talking to me, and you're mentioning Wilt Chamberlain in the same sentence with me, I don't have [any] words after that," Iverson said post-game.

"I mean, what can I say? You mention somebody that's 6-feet, 165 [pounds] soaking wet, and somebody seven some feet."
