Orlando Magic guard and former No. 1 overall pick Markelle Fultz will miss the remainder of the 2020-21 NBA season after an MRI confirmed that he suffered a torn ACL in a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Fultz, who signed a three-year contract extension prior to the season, was enjoying a great start to the year as he was averaging 14.3 points and 6.1 assists through the Magic's first seven games. He took to Twitter to issue a statement following his injury.
